MEMBERSHIP POLICY
Membership type. FUNN membership is individual, not club- or chapter-based. Joining means joining FUNN directly as a person, not through a local group. Membership is what gives FUNN standing to represent U.S. naturists internationally.
Dues. Charter Membership is $6 a year, available through December 31, 2026, and locked in at that rate for as long as membership continues without a lapse. Starting January 1, 2027, new members join at the standard rate of $12 a year. A lapsed Charter Membership renews at the then-current standard rate, not the original Charter rate.
Payment processing. Dues are processed through Zeffy, a payment platform built for nonprofits. 100% of dues go to FUNN. Zeffy offers an optional tip at checkout to support their platform; it can be set to $0.
Tax status. Tax status: FUNN is a registered nonprofit and will be organizing as a 501(c)(7) with the Internal Revenue Service within the next twelve months. Membership dues. Membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions under IRS rules. Consult a tax professional regarding your own situation, including for any separate donations to FUNN.
Eligibility. Membership is currently open to individual naturists and nudists who are U.S. residents, are supportive of FUNN’s mission, and are 18 or older.
Code of conduct. Naturism, as FUNN and INF-FNI define it, is explicitly non-sexual. Members are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. FUNN reserves the right to revoke membership for violations of this standard or of its broader code of conduct.
Cancellation and refunds. Membership may be canceled at any time by contacting info@joinFUNN.org. Dues already paid are generally non-refundable.
Privacy. FUNN does not sell or share member personal information. Payment details are handled directly by Zeffy and not stored by FUNN. The mailing list is a separate, opt-in list, and subscribers may unsubscribe at any time. For more details, see our full Privacy Policy.
Terms and Conditions. Membership and use of this site are also governed by FUNN's Terms and Conditions, including limits on FUNN's responsibility for third-party clubs, resorts, and events you may access through your membership. For the full terms, see our Terms and Conditions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What's the difference between Charter and Regular Membership?
Charter Membership is $6 a year, available only through the end of 2026, and stays at that rate for as long as you're a continuous member. Regular Membership, starting in 2027, is $12 a year for anyone joining after the Charter window closes.
Do I need to belong to a local naturist club to join FUNN?
No. FUNN membership is individual and direct. You don't need to be affiliated with any club, resort, or other organization to join.
Do I need to live in the United States to join FUNN?
For now, yes. FUNN membership is currently limited to U.S. residents as we establish our role as the U.S. member federation of INF-FNI.
Can I support FUNN if I live outside the United States?
Absolutely. Supporters anywhere in the world can help FUNN through a one-time or recurring donation. Donations support our work connecting U.S. naturists with the international naturist community.
Does FUNN replace an AANR or TNSF membership?
No. FUNN is designed as a companion to those memberships, adding representation in INF-FNI and a connection to the international naturist community.
Does joining FUNN make me a member of INF-FNI too?
Yes. FUNN is the recognized U.S. member federation of INF-FNI, and joining FUNN makes you a member of INF-FNI through that affiliation, not a separate membership or a separate fee. Your FUNN membership is what makes you part of the INF-FNI family, with access to its benefits and a voice, through FUNN, in its governance.
What do I actually get for my dues?
Membership comes with a vote in FUNN's governance, discounted access to international naturist clubs and grounds approved by INF-FNI, Focus (INF-FNI's newsletter) alongside FUNN's own updates, and a stake in how the U.S. is represented internationally.
Is naturism through FUNN sexual in nature?
No. It's rooted in body acceptance and non-sexual social nudity, consistent with how INF-FNI and the broader naturist movement define the practice.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Email info@joinFUNN.org to cancel. Paid dues are generally non-refundable.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
No. FUNN is a 501(c)(7), and dues to that type of organization aren't deductible as charitable contributions. Talk to a tax professional if you have questions specific to your situation.
